I woke up quite early (good for me considering the time change).
I went to the tourist planning section and the guy there, Gabriel helped me set up some stuff. (zip line today + helicopter tour on thursday)
I registered and paid for a zip line experience. ... I unfortunately did not make it there in time so I had to wait a few hours until the next round. The traffic, construction, and not knowing how the roads worked threw me off.
So I got there and spent the time napping (or trying to) and charging my phone which was losing power fiendishly, I think trying to get data / phone signal.

Zip lining was okay. It was fun, but lost novelty quite quickly. At the last station, one of the guides brought us "ice cream beans". It was pretty good. I brought one home to eat. On the way to my next destination Hilo, I took a scenic detour and got a smoothie "green goddess"... I forgot the name of the place though. I also happened on a botanical garden, which I spent some time at (pictures/videos on separate post)
The plan was to then eat at Hilo Bay Cafe.
this medium cooked ono fish was just superb.
Which I did. The plan then was to go the volcano national park. But it was getting dark / it was starting to rain. I was also getting cranky/sleepy. Also I had to drive 1.5 hours back, so I drove back on a different road then the way I came. It went up quite a lot and it was very foggy and dark, and my GPS did not work well... but considering there is only one road it worked out fine.
